Product Description

Starrett Fast Cut Hole Saws are premium bi-metal cutting tools designed to deliver fast, clean and controlled cuts across a broad range of materials. The saws feature a new 5.5 TPI positive rake tooth design combined with enhanced cobalt-infused high-speed steel teeth, providing increased resistance to heat build-up and wear during demanding cutting applications.

Originally developed for stainless steel and mild steel sheet, the Fast Cut range also performs effectively on plastics, wood and plasterboard, making them a versatile choice for site and workshop use. The design reduces cutting resistance and improves chip clearance, allowing for smoother operation and longer tool life compared to earlier constant pitch designs.

 
Each hole saw provides a consistent cutting depth of approximately 41mm, making them suitable for a wide range of installation tasks including service penetrations, pipework access points, electrical fittings and general fabrication work. They are also capable of cutting through steel tubing with wall thicknesses up to 3mm, making them particularly useful in mechanical and M&E installations.

 
The range is designed for use with compatible Starrett arbors and accessories, ensuring secure mounting and reliable performance across all sizes.

Ideal for mechanical, electrical and construction installations, including pipework penetrations, cable management systems, HVAC installations, lighting cut-outs and general fabrication work in stainless steel, mild steel and mixed-material environments.
