Product Description

Projecting Bolts are a type of mechanical expansion anchor consisting of a threaded stud, expansion shield, nut and washer. Installed into a pre-drilled hole, the anchor expands as the nut is tightened, creating friction against the sides of the hole to secure the fixing in place.

The key feature of this fixing is the projecting threaded stud, which allows fixtures to be hung or located before final tightening. This makes installation quicker and more accurate, particularly when aligning brackets, channels or heavy components.
