Product Description

Nyloc Nuts incorporate a nylon collar positioned at the top of the nut, which deforms elastically around the threads of a mating bolt when tightened. This creates friction and a prevailing torque that helps maintain a secure connection, even in applications subject to vibration or movement.

Unlike standard nuts, Nyloc Nuts do not rely solely on clamping force to stay in place, reducing the risk of loosening over time. This makes them particularly useful in mechanical assemblies, plant equipment, and structural applications where long-term reliability is critical.
