Lindapter TR60

The Lindapter Type TR60 is a specialist composite decking fixing engineered for use with Structural Metal Decks (SMD) profiles, including TR60, TR60+, TR80 and TR80+. It provides a safe, reliable and non-invasive method of suspending threaded rod systems from steel decking, preserving the structural integrity of the deck while enabling efficient installation of building services.

Product Description

The Lindapter TR60 is a high-quality, cost-effective fixing solution designed to securely anchor threaded rod systems into composite metal decking profiles. The system is specifically engineered to fit within the dovetail-shaped re-entrant channel found in SMD decking, creating a strong mechanical fixing without the need for drilling, welding, or shot firing.

 
Each fixing consists of a two-part assembly: a pre-galvanised locking plate and a malleable iron wedge with a bright zinc plated (BZP) finish. Once installed, the wedge rotates and locks against the internal profile of the decking, forming a secure anchor point capable of supporting suspended services such as pipework, cable trays, ducting, and HVAC systems.

 
Designed for post-installation use after the concrete has been poured and cured, the TR60 provides a “zero-impact” connection that avoids damage to the decking surface and eliminates the risk of delamination. Its adjustable design allows for accurate positioning before final tightening, making it ideal for coordinated building services installations.

 
With a typical safe working load of approximately 1.0 kN (based on a 3:1 factor of safety), the TR60 delivers dependable performance across a wide range of applications.

Installation Guide

1. Pre-assemble the locking plate and wedge (flat surface facing upwards) onto the threaded rod. 
2. Insert the wedge into the re-entrant channel of the decking profile.
3. Rotate until the wedge cams engage securely within the channel.
4. Slide the locking plate into position and tighten the nut beneath to secure the assembly.
