Grooved Viclets

The Grooved Viclet is a versatile mechanical branch outlet designed to create a threaded connection directly from an existing pipe without the need to install a full tee. Ideal for fire protection, HVAC, and mechanical services, it provides a fast and efficient solution for adding smaller branch lines to grooved piping systems.

 
Manufactured from durable ductile iron, the viclet is secured to the pipe using a bolted housing and gasket arrangement, forming a reliable, pressure-responsive seal. A hole is cut into the pipe to create the outlet, allowing installation without removing or replacing sections of pipe—making it particularly well suited for retrofits, extensions, and on-site modifications.

 
Supplied with a 15mm BSP threaded outlet, this fitting is designed for smaller branch connections such as drains, test points, and gauge lines, while maintaining full compatibility with standard grooved pipe systems.
