Brass Y Strainers

Brass Y Strainers are compact filtration devices designed to remove unwanted debris, scale, and particles from liquid systems, helping to protect valves, pumps, and other sensitive equipment from damage. Installed directly into pipework, they provide an essential first line of defence in maintaining system cleanliness and operational efficiency.

 
The Y-shaped body houses a removable stainless steel mesh screen that traps contaminants while allowing fluid to continue flowing through the system with minimal pressure loss. When required, the strainer can be easily cleaned by removing the end cap and accessing the internal filter element, making maintenance simple and cost-effective.

 
Manufactured from durable brass with BSP threaded connections, these strainers are suitable for a wide range of water and non-aggressive fluid applications. They are typically rated for PN16 pressures and are available in multiple sizes to suit standard pipework systems.
