Brass Metal Seated Swing Check Valves

Brass Metal Seated Swing Check Valves are designed to prevent reverse flow in pipework systems, ensuring fluid moves in one direction only. Commonly used in plumbing, heating, and mechanical installations, they provide a simple, automatic solution for backflow prevention without the need for manual operation.

 
These valves operate using a hinged internal disc that swings open under forward flow and closes automatically when flow stops or reverses. This design allows for a full flow path with minimal pressure loss, while providing reliable shut-off against backflow.

 
Constructed from durable brass with a metal-to-metal seat, these valves offer enhanced temperature resistance and long service life compared to soft-seated alternatives. The metal seat design is particularly suited to applications where durability and resistance to wear are important, although slight seepage can occur under sustained reverse pressure due to the nature of metal seating.

 
Typically supplied with BSP threaded connections, they integrate easily into standard pipework systems and are suitable for a wide range of general-purpose applications.
