The A1 & A2 Arbours are essential tools for any professional or DIY setup requiring versatile hole cutting — from small perforations to larger core holes. The A1 arbour is compatible with hole saws ranging from 14 mm to 30 mm, and features an 8.75 mm (11/32″) hex shank and a ½″ 20 UNF screw thread. It ships with a 6.35 mm (¼″) HSS pilot drill, ensuring precise centring and clean cut starts — essential for accurate wood, metal or plastic drilling.

For larger drilling needs, the A2 arbour supports hole saws from 32 mm up to 210 mm in diameter and is designed to fit a 13 mm (½″) chuck on standard drills. Typically fitted with an 11 mm hex shank and a robust screw thread (often 5/8″ 18 UNF), the A2 arbour delivers the secure engagement and torque stability needed for larger bore holes.

 
Both arbours come ready fitted with a replaceable HSS pilot drill, allowing for accurate guiding of the hole saw into the workpiece and reducing wobble or misalignment. Their hex shank design ensures a firm grip in the drill chuck, which improves control and safety, especially when penetrating dense or tough materials.
